That’s according to a source on Monday, who said the Kidman clan was yet to find a buyer for the vacant lot on Rosedale’s Knowlman Road, which they purchased in 2004.

According to Sydney media reports, the 1220 square metre property, with three rustic cabins, quietly sold under a confidential agreement for “well over” the listed buyer inquiries of $1.4 million.

However, reports that the sale completed Nicole Kidman’s real estate rationalisation, following the sale of her properties at Darling Point and Walsh Bay, were incorrect.

In 2004 the actress’s then brother-in-law, Angus Hawley, helicoptered in to bid $1.47 million for the beachfront cabins at Rosedale.

That was followed two months later by the purchase of the three-bedroom house next door and an adjoining vacant lot for $2.53 million.

We’ve come to expect to see Nicole Kidman walk the red carpet on Oscars night, whether or not she’s nominated. In fact, one of my favourite Oscars dresses of all time is the embroidered chartreuse gown by John Galliano for Dior which she wore in 2006.

But this year Nicole was nowhere to be seen. Instead, she and husband Keith Urban were on a plane bound for Sydney. The Kidman clan is gathering to celebrate mother Janelle’s 70th birthday party, to be held at a mystery location. Nicole Kidman, 42, has withdrawn from a movie project she is developing, titled Monte Carlo. Listed as cast for the movie along with Selena Gomez, 17, is a rumoured Julia Roberts, according to imdb.com. Kidman, Variety said, may take a supporting role.

Kidman remains a producer of the project, along with a handful of others. The role is the second she has reportedly dropped in recent months. Monte Carlo is based on the book Headhunters by Jules Bass. It tells the story of three women who try to pass themselves off as wealthy ladies of leisure kicking back on vacation in Monaco.

Selena Gomez, 17, is replacing Nicole Kidman, 42, as the star of upcoming movie "Monte Carlo." But since Kidman is also a producer of the comedy-in-development as well as its former star, the swap can only hurt so much. Based on the book "Headhunters" by Jules Bass, the story is about a trio of women who try to pass themselves off as rich ladies vacationing in Monaco.

Kidman was originally slated to star before it was decided that the script should be youth-enized. Now two of the women are college students and one is a graduate student. They're on a cheap holiday in Paris when they flee to Monte Carlo to live the good life, even if they are also living a lie.

The whole relationship advisor thing worked for Will Smith in “Hitch,” but can Nicole Kidman pull it off as well? As reported by New York Magazine's Vulture, Nicole is set to star in Relativity Media’s “The Wedding Doctor.”

The film is exactly what it sounds like, Nicole’s character is a wedding doctor, someone who advises couples on their relationships pre-nuptials.

A problem arises when she assesses her newest clients and concludes that she’s the better match for the groom-to-be. Now she and his fiancée are in the midst of an intense showdown.

Vulture reports that Nicole Kidman has attached herself to star in The Wedding Doctor. In the film, the actress would play a relationship analyst who gives couples advice on their interpersonal dynamics before they get married.

Things change when she meets her new clients and "decides she'd actually be a better match for the groom-to-be," which sets off a showdown with his fiancée. Relativity Media, which after years of funding Sony and Universal's film slates, is getting into production and this is one of their projects.

The plan is to bring the film to Hollywood studios for distribution. At present, it looks like the casting of Nicole Kidman is only a rumor. We will report more information as we get it.

It was just announced that Nicole has joined the comedy Just Go for It, a movie starring Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston and Brooklyn Decker. Nic’s role is being kept under wraps but the movie has an interesting cast, can’t wait!

The new comedy The Bachelorette Party was originally picked up by Nicole’s production company but is now in the hands of Peter Segal’s Callahan Filmworks. It’s basically the female version of The Hangover and Anna Faris and Jennifer Garner are set to star.

If Oprah Winfrey did it and Madonna's doing it, it must be a good idea.  Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are funding a school, but instead of a girl's school in Africa the pair is donating to the charity de jour, Haiti (and we hope side stepping the whole lawsuit business.)

Urban said in a radio interview "We're actually going to be funding a school down there for the next five years. It's in (the nation's capital) Port-Au-Prince. The kids will also have one hot meal a day. They'll have all of their medical taken care of by the school, and clothing, as well."

By we he doesn't exactly mean he and his wife.  They are A list, but who has Oprah and Madonna money besides Oprah and Madonna? Nicole and Academy Award-winning director Paul Haggis dreamed up the idea through the Artists for Peace and Justice organization, which will be funding several schools through privately raised donations.
