Nicole Kidman`s ghoulish make-up explained

Nicole Kidman was not trying out for the Twilight movies or aware of the ring of white powder that showed up on her face at Nine's premiere in New York.
Described variously as a make-up malfunction and a 'make-up faux pas' by a French magazine, the photo images of Kidman with rings of operatic white powder under her eyes were the result of poor lighting, she revealed.
Speaking to Sydney radiocasters Kyle and Jackie O by phone from the US, she said: 'I called the stylist and I was like 'Oh my gosh what happened.
I couldn't see it. But.' 'To be honest I never look in the mirror, I trust that you know, the make-up is fine and I'm a little distracted. She said 'Look you gotta give me better light.''
The make-up, Kidman explained, was applied in her living room in New York. She added: 'I don't know. How embarrassing. I laughed. I just went, 'Oh well, whatever.' Why didn't anyone tell me? I mean if you see something in someone's teeth, you tell them right ? You go, 'Oh you just got a little bit of something there.''
