NICOLE Kidman and husband Keith Urban have splashed out $10m on a luxurious Manhattan apartment, into which they can actually drive. Kidman and Urban's new pad in Chelsea comes with an 'en suite Sky Garage' car elevator that will let them take their limo all the way up to the penthouse on the 16th floor, according to the New York Post.

The building, which has stunning Hudson River views, is the first in New York City to get the feature. The three-bedroom apartment measures 3,248sq-ft and comes with two terraces, a double height Great Room and a sprawling master suite. The apartment was originally listed at $12.5m. Kidman, 43, and Urban, 42, live most of the year in Nashville, Tennessee, but also have homes in Australia and Los Angeles.

Nicole Kidman wants to make sure her daughter has a “social conscience”. The actress  who raises Sunday Rose with her country music star husband Keith Urban — is currently in Haiti as part of her role as a goodwill ambassador with United Nations.

And Kidman’s hoping her little lady will follow in her famous mother’s footsteps. “It’s not what I get out of it. I feel like I can never put enough into it. The greatest thing my parents did was give me a social conscience,” Nicole said of her work. “For someone like Sunday, for her to be able to be molded, I suppose, to have a very strong social conscience  I would be so proud.”

Even before the massive earthquake left Haiti in ruins this past January, the women of Haiti were already facing extreme gender bias, and violence against women was extremely prevalent in the island nation. According to the United Nations Development Fund for Women's website, violence against women and girls has been even more widespread since the earthquake, since many are being forced to live in tents and other temporary shelters that leave them even more vulnerable to assault.

It's not easy parting Nicole Kidman from her 2-year-old daughter, Sunday Rose. "I've spent two nights away from her in two years. I'm just so into her. I'm crazy about her. She's a good little traveler. She flies everywhere and she brings her little toys.

It's not a big deal, traveling with them — but not to Haiti," says Kidman, calling Thursday from Port-au-Prince after spending a day touring a women's shelter. "Safetywise, I couldn't bring her (here), but otherwise, she goes everywhere with me. We were walking through the tent cities today, and it's just rubble and tents."

Nicole's flame red hair was softly curled (so much better than her blonde hair, we think) and was topped of with a crimson pout.

NICOLE KIDMAN is to play fabled writer ERNEST HEMINGWAY's wife, opposite CLIVE OWEN, in a new JAMES GANDOLFINI movie. The Sopranos star has been trying to get the biopic Hemingway & Gellhorn before cameras for years - and now he'll produce the TV movie for U.S. cable channel HBO with two of the world's biggest actors. Kidman will play Martha Gellhorn, Hemingway's third wife.

Shooting will start in Northern California next year (11). According to the Los Angeles Times, Kidman has put her portrayal of British soul star Dusty Springfield on hold so she can make the new movie with Owen, Gandolfini and director Philip Kaufman.The film isn't the only all-star biopic about Hemingway in production - Sir Anthony Hopkins, Andy Garcia and Annette Bening have teamed up to shoot Hemingway & Fuentes.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary with a romantic meal.

The couple, who have a 23-month-old daughter, Sunday Rose, together, marked the special occasion last week by dining out.

At exclusive Nashville restaurant Flyte and onlookers say they couldn’t keep their hands off each other during the evening.

One fellow diner told People, “Nicole looked stunning, very understated in a sleeveless dress and sandals.

They were smiling and holding hands across the table. You could tell they were so in love.” After their meal, the Oscar-winning actress and the country singer chatted with staff.

Who described them as a “delight”. Nicole – who has two adopted children, Isabella, 17, and 15-year-old Connor.

With ex-husband Tom Cruise – and Keith are happy to publicly speak about their love for each other but admit marriage is hard work.

Happy second birthday, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban! Parents Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban stunned the world by choosing the unusual day name for their daughter, born July 7, 2008.

Though Kidman's father suggested the name Sunday, inspired by Australian patron of the arts Sunday Reed, Kidman and Urban settled on the name because they love the day of the week.

That's our favorite day because if you're happy and you've got your family and the things around you, then Sunday's a beautiful day," Kidman told Oprah Winfrey three months after the child's birth. "So our baby's called Sunday."

After giving the two children they adopted together conventionally stylish names -- Isabella and Connor -- both Kidman and Tom Cruise made individualistic choices for the little girls they had separately.
